Associate Director of Catholic Youth Camp
The St. Thomas More Center (home of Catholic Youth Camp) in Panora, IA is currently looking for an Associate Director. The Associate Director functions primarily as an assistant to the Executive Director in all daily functions during the summer camp season. Throughout the rest of the year he/she will lead retreats, manage outside groups and be responsible for light maintenance duties. In addition to these duties the Associate Director will assist the Executive Director with diocesan youth ministry and be responsible for a diocesan young adult program called NOVOS, that meets twice monthly. Position requires flexibility and adaptability; some evenings and weekends are required. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in religious studies, youth ministry, education or related field and a minimum of three years directing retreats and training retreat facilitators for both youth and adults.
