Lead Consultant
The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas is soliciting applications for the full-time position of Lead Consultant in the Family Life Office. This position will be responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of the Family Life Office. Specific activities include reviewing, revising and overseeing the Archdiocesan marriage preparation programs, as well as identifying and incorporating programs for marriage and family enrichment. Additional responsibilities involve overseeing programs for seniors, the Project Genesis initiative, as well as coordination of women’s and men’s groups. This position will also oversee the efforts of the My House initiative and work to incorporate the principles of Theology of the Body into various programs throughout the Archdiocese. Serving as a resource and assistant to the Archbishop, this individual will also be available to assist pastors and parish staff members. The position reports to the Director of the Department of Parish Ministries and supervises two other consultants and one administrative assistant. The Lead Consultant for Family Life should be an active Catholic who is supportive of and abides by the doctrines and magisterial teachings of the Catholic Church and have work experience in Family Life ministry. Prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree or post- graduate education in area related to the duties of the position. LITURGIST
