 Pastors

Rev. Thomas Albers, CPPS, formerly Pastor of Saint James Parish in Liberty, appointed Pastor of Saint Mary Parish, Nevada, with residence at the parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. John Bolderson, formerly Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish in Butler and Immaculate Conception Parish in Montrose, to relinquish Immaculate Conception Parish in Montrose and remain Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish, Butler, with residence at St. Patrick parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. Michael O. Clary, formerly Pastor of Our Lady of the Presentation Parish in Lee’s Summit, appointed Pastor of Holy Spirit Parish, Lee’s Summit, with residence at the parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. Thomas W. Hermes, formerly Pastor of Saint Columban Parish in Chillicothe, appointed Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Montrose, with residence at the parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. Thomas Holder, formerly Pastor of Saint John Francis Regis Parish in Kansas City, appointed Pastor of Our Lady of the Presentation Parish, Lee’s Summit, with residence at the parish, effective    July 1, 2011.

Rev. Justin Hoye, formerly Pastor of Saint Mary Parish in Nevada, appointed Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish, Kansas City, with residence at the parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. Richard Rocha, Vocation Director of the Diocese, formerly in residence at St. Peter parish, appointed Pastor of Saint John Francis Regis Parish, Kansas City, with residence at the parish, and to remain Diocesan Vocation Director, effective July 1, 2011.

Administrators

Rev. Timothy Armbruster, CPPS, formerly Associate Pastor of Saint James Parish in Liberty, appointed interim Administrator of Saint James Parish in Liberty, with residence at the parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. Angelo Bartulica, Administrator of Saint Joseph Parish in Trenton and Immaculate Heart of Mary (quasi)Parish in Princeton, also appointed Administrator of Saint Columban Parish, Chillicothe, with residence at Saint Columban Parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. Matthew Benjamin, Administrator of Saint Mary Parish in Saint Joseph, also appointed Administrator of Seven Dolors Parish, Hirlingen, with residence at Saint Mary Parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. M. Christopher Smith, formerly serving in the Diocese of Jefferson City, appointed Administrator of Immaculate Conception Parish, Lexington, with residence at the parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. Matthew Bartulica, formerly studying in Rome, appointed Administrator of Saint Cyril Parish, Sugar Creek, with residence at the parish, effective July 1, 2011.

Rev. Mr. Benjamin Kneib, newly ordained, appointed to assist the Pastor of Saint Elizabeth Parish, Kansas City, and to continued studies at Kenrick Seminary in Saint Louis, effective June 8, 2011.

Rev. Mr. Sean McCaffery, newly ordained, appointed to assist the Pastor of Saint Peter Parish, Kansas City, with residence at the parish, effective June 8, 2011.

Special Assignments

 Retirement

Rev. Donald Sturm, formerly Pastor of Seven Dolors Parish in Hirlingen, is granted retirement, effective July 1, 2011.

    What is the difference between a Pastor & an Administrator?

       I think a pastor has a multi-year assignment whereas the administrator does not.
