Polski Day, an annual event occurring on the first Saturday in May commemorates the May 3, 1791 signing of the Polish Constitution of Freedom. In Kansas City, Kan., families gather to celebrate their Polish heritage:

11 a.m., May 5, the traditional Polski Day Parade begins at 12th & Central, and heads
east on Central Avenue to 8th Street going up the wrong way on a one-way street to Vermont and ends at the All Saints Church,811 Vermont, KCK.

Noon, enjoy Polish food,music, and entertainment.

4 p.m., a special Polka Mass featuring the Good Shepherd Choir, will be held at All Saints Church.

There will be other activities too, Bricks from the school, now torn down, will be available for purchase during Polski Day.
