Rarely do people succeed in life without the encouragement of others. Young people are no exception to this rule. At birth, each child is a gift to the family. When they walk into our Catholic schools, they become a gift to us.
Throughout the diocese, we are partners with parents in forming competent young adults - those who know that values are not just the answer to Math problems. Our mission is to form young people who are fully aware of their Catholic identity and proud to live their faith. We want to inspire children to believe that the difference in this world can be them.
Our Catholic school tradition puts adults squarely in the corner of each child. Our teachers challenge students academically but always remind them to look at each situation through the lens of faith. We are proud to present to you this Report Card on the state of our schools in 2007-08.
In classrooms from Montrose to Maryville, from Crayons to Calculus, the message is clear: live your life as Jesus taught.
God bless.
Sincerely,
Sister Patricia Clune, CSJ, PhD
