ICARE Mass, ICAREof Northeast Kansas is teaming up with Kansas City for a series of ICARE Masses at St. Charles Borromeo
Parish. The ICARE Mass is provided as a ministry for families and persons with special needs. Those, most precious among us, who respond to God in a variety of ways which allow for expressive prayer, vocalization, crying out, unexpected or uncontrolled movement or noise, conversation and more. Persons with Down syndrome to severe autism, Asperger’s and everything in between are those to whom this Mass seeks in ministry for communal worship. ICARE stands for: Inclusive Catholic Activities and Religious Experience.

Join us at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Drive, Kansas City, on the first Saturdays of the month, Jan. 4, Feb.
1, March 7, April 3, May 2) for a 6 p.m. ICARE, special needs, Mass followed by dinner and a social.
