Professor Rory Rapple, University of Notre Dame, specializes in the Cultural; Intellectual; Legal; Military and Political History of Britain and Ireland. One hundred years ago a single event in Irish history changed everything for the country. Professor Rapple examines the context in which the Rising took place and the logic behind the actions of the rebels who were responsible for what contemporaries called “The Crazy Rebellion.”

Lecture is free to the public, refreshments served.
